The First Tech WIN Training: Promoting Gender Inclusivity and Equity in the Workplace

Graduation Ceremony for TechWIN’s First Cohort Under the esteemed patronage of Ms. Samira Al-Zoubi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, a milestone graduation ceremony was held for the first cohort of participants in the Tech Women Inclusivity Network (TechWIN) training program. TechWIN, an initiative under the Youth, Technology, and Jobs Project and supported by the Ministry, unites representatives from over 20 major companies within the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. This network is committed to fostering gender inclusivity and equity across the industry.  The intensive two-day training program aimed to equip companies with actionable strategies to implement inclusive policies, encouraging equal opportunities and fair representation for women. This initiative is designed to enhance performance and competitiveness within the ICT sector by promoting a workplace culture of innovation, openness, and empowerment, reinforcing each member’s dedication to inclusivity and diversity.  Ms. Al-Zoubi commended TechWIN’s groundbreaking efforts to elevate the role of women in technology. She noted that the graduation of this first cohort marks a meaningful step toward cultivating a supportive and equitable work environment, enabling women to assume leadership roles. This endeavor not only strengthens individual organizations but also contributes to a balanced and thriving professional community within the tech and telecommunications sectors.  Our company proudly participated in this transformative training held at Mövenpick Amman on Wednesday and Thursday, joining a collective commitment to advancing gender inclusivity in the workplace.
